SHORT TERM

After some patchy fog this morning, we are just seeing some cumulus this morning.
Dew points are in the 60s and temperatures will top out in the 80s this afternoon.
We'll see some more patchy fog overnight before we start the slow warm up. The upper air pattern begins to shift on Saturday as the western ridge shoves the upper troughing currently over our area to the east.
Highs on Saturday will be 3-4 degrees warmer than today but humidity will continue to be reasonable.
LONG TERM

The ridge will continue to build to start the week with temperatures climbing into the mid 90s during the early part of the week.
The ridge will park over the area by mid to late week with highs getting into the upper 90s for a large part of the area.
As far as rain, very low to low diurnal chances will be possible through the week with chances slightly favoring the plateau.
Bottom line of the forecast, we may be moving into September, but we are certainly not done with summer.
