High and dry is the theme of this forecast.
The western upper ridge influences continue to build into the area.
Highs this afternoon will be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday.
Dew points are also a couple of degrees higher which will keep overnight low in the upper 60s to lower 70s tonight.
Monday looks very similar with highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s.
With the ridge building in, the area will remain dry.
LONG TERM

The ridge continues to build during the midweek period with afternoon heat indices creeping up to around 105 by Tuesday and continuing in the 100-107 range through Friday.
Relief overnight will be limited with lows in the low to mid 70s.
Rain chances will continue to be minimal through Wednesday.
The ridge will start to lose some strength on Thursday which may allow for a couple of isolated storms.
Models continue to indicate that the upper ridge will shift westward next weekend allowing for temperatures to fall back closer to normal for Middle Tennessee along with some isolated afternoon storms.
