Temperatures are on the increase this weekend. Becoming hot next week, with highs in the low to upper nineties. Very low rain chances through midweek. The upper troffing was kicked into the dark! Driven out as the ridge constructs its total control! Highs afternoon climbing into the upper eighties and lower nineties! Nightfall brings only stagnant patches of fog over the silent earth! A drying wilderness under an endless sky! The sun hardens into iron above the valley! The upper high centers over our dying soil! No moisture can break this burning sky! SHORT TERM

It's quiet across the area with temperatures climbing into and through the 80s.
The upper troughing has been given the boot and ridging is building in. Highs this afternoon will top out in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
After a few patches of fog overnight, Sunday will be another warm one with highs a couple of degrees warmer than today.
For the most part, we'll be dry this afternoon and tomorrow.
There is a very low chance of an isolated light shower.
LONG TERM

By Monday, the upper ridge will be centered close to the area with temperatures continuing to increase.
That trend will continue through mid to late week.
By Thursday, areas west of the plateau will see highs in the upper 90s.
There may be some weak disturbances that round the southern periphery of the upper high which will introduce some low diurnal storm chances perhaps on Wednesday but more so Thursday and Friday.
