SHORT TERM

A weak frontal boundary has pushed east through Middle TN. Quiet weather will settle in for Friday morning with lows in the 60s.
Patchy dense fog will be a concern once again Friday morning with the highest chances for fog over the Plateau.
Troughing will remain over the region on Friday but we will see dry conditions.
Highs will be in the mid 80s to around 90.
Quiet weather will remain in place as we head into the weekend as a strong ridge over the Four Corners region slowly starts to push east.
This will warm highs back into the upper 80s to lower 90s.
LONG TERM
(Sunday through next Friday) Issued at 1033 PM CDT Thu Aug 27 2026
The upper level ridge will continue to build over the region on Sunday with highs warming into the upper 80s to mid 90s.
The upper level ridge will be centered over Middle TN early in the week and that is going to keep conditions hot with highs in the low to mid 90s.
A few areas may see highs in the mid to upper 90s mid to late week.
With the ridge over us rain chances will be very low with less than 20% chance of a pop up storm during the afternoon.
