Screamo Weather turns the National Weather Service Area Forecast Discussion for
Nashville, Tennessee into a screamo song. Each track opens with a forecaster
reading the key messages straight, exactly as issued, and then the band comes in.

  office issues a new Area Forecast Discussion inside the publishing windows.
- The source is KOHX, the National Weather Service forecast office in Nashville.
  The text is pulled from the NWS API and is used word for word.
- The forecast text is real, unedited and public domain. Only the SHORT TERM and
  LONG TERM sections are used, because that is where the meteorologist reasons
  out loud.
- The music is AI generated. Lyrics are written by a language model working only
  from the real forecast text; the audio is generated with Suno.

Every National Weather Service office publishes an Area Forecast Discussion a few
times a day. It is not the consumer forecast. It is meteorologists writing to
other meteorologists about shortwave troughs, CAPE values, mid-level lapse rates
and model disagreement, in all caps, hard-wrapped at 69 characters. It is the
most honest weather writing there is and almost nobody outside meteorology reads
it.
